Enclosure for Small Animals During Awake Animal Imaging

The invention provides a low cost method to enclose awake, mobile small animals during a medical scan so that motion measurement can be made. The animal is free to move within the enclosure but can be monitored using external optical devices. No anesthesia is needed. The enclosure can be adapted to different size animals including mice and rats.
