Magnetically Stabilized Magnetocaloric Microchannel

The invention relates to Magnetocaloric refrigeration devices and more specifically to an application for porous stabilized beds for use in such devices. Disclosed are methods of manufacture and articles of manufacture that comprise metallic particles aligned into chains under magnetic processing to form channels. After sintering the particles together at elevated temperature, an article comprising a series of microchannels is created.
